So I watched District 9 opening at 12:01AM. I always thought it was going to be an all out Human Alien war. I was so wrong.
It’s like Battlestar Galactica without the Cylon seeking revenge plot. Yeah, that is what kind quality this movie is. I have to say, the movie was funny, fun, unique, innovative, and definitely an instant classic. There are so many reference to to the real life and philosophy involved that I am pretty sure there’s going to be a book on this topic very soon. The film used so many different camera angles to emphasize different segment of the story that they really made the film shine. The movie of questions humanity which is depressing, but the main character also displayed the better part of the humanity. I think you ought to check out the movie yourself to see what I am talking about.
So that was early this morning. As I typing this blog on my way to work, I look out the windows while the train was passing by between 12th street and west Oakland.
I see the street filled with cars, buildings but there’s hardly any people or movement. It’s seemed empty and peaceful. I wonder what if we just suddenly disappear from the face of the earth, what the future explorer will think about us? They’ll see ruins and mega structures, but it doesn’t seems like we have anything that can last without the caring of us. Oh well, everything eventually turn into dust I guess.

Xzigraz! The ending to your post is more depressing than the humanity portrayed in District 9!
